Algarve installs Inis warning lights system

Autodromo Do Algarve, based in Portimão, Portugal – the latest F1-standard race circuit in Europe – installed a full Inis wireless warning lights system for the first Le Mans Series 1,000km of Algarve, held last weekend.

The installation of 27 Inis wireless lights along with the Inis Wireless Pit Light System and Central Control Center Software in advance of the first night race brought a technologically advanced system to the facility. The solar-powered wireless system provides each post marshall with a remote control unit which can give the full range of local warning flags and the ability to call red flags. In addition the software provides the race director with total control of local and full course flags from race control.

The Inis Wireless Pit Light and Sensor system adds pit entry and exit lights along with a range of wireless track sensors to the system, ensuring the blue warning lights at pit exit automatically monitor car activity on the straight at all times.
